Male collared sunbird (Anthreptes collaris), possibly a maturing specimen. This small sunbird is found from West Africa and across to the south east of the continent. It feeds mostly on small invertebrates, its relatively short bill being unsuited to probing flowers for nectar. Ibadan, May 1964.
